Bed Bath & Beyond Website Redesign

Conducting a heuristic evaluation of the product cards on the Bed Bath & Beyond website to improve user experiences.

THE PROBLEM

I started this project by conducting a heuristic evaluation of Bed Bath & Beyond’s website and noticed some significant issues with consistency and standards on the product cards.

Different information was listed on many of the product cards and some of that information was in a different order from one card to the next, making it challenging for users to easily skim or compare items.

THE GOAL

My goal was to redesign the Bed Bath & Beyond product cards to improve usefulness and ease of use through the following priorities:

  • Ensure consistency

  • Make them easy to skim

  • Include all (and only) relevant information

  • Provide clear visibility of system status for what products are in stock, what each product type costs, and which products are available for pickup.
